South Coast Orchids was established in 1982 by Dennis Keany. What started as a hobby soon grew into a thriving business specializing in flowering phalaenopsis, dendrobium and cymbidium orchids.

In the past 25 years, Dennis has won many awards, including best of class and best of show from various orchid societies. He is an accomplished grower and well respected in the orchid industry. With a master's degree in art, Dennis' insights bring an aesthetic enhancement to his orchid arrangements.

South Coast Orchids is located in North County San Diego, consisting of a 4.5 acre facility with 12 greenhouses devoted to phalaenopsis and 6 to the cymbidium and dendrobium orchids. Vista's excellent weather, along with the climate controlled greenhouses, ensure the healthiest and sturdiest of flowering plants.

We now offer our prize quality orchids online (including shipping in the continental United States, with local delivery in San Diego and Orange County). Gift packages, cut flowers, orchids of the month, and gift certificates are also available.

It is easy for you to order a spectacular orchid arrangement in a custom container, or a lovely orchid plant ready for your own container. We also welcome special orders for the discriminating client. We can customize the size, color and variety of the orchid and the type of container best suited for your interior décor.
